The Host of Today's Trucking TV - " Bill Sadler".
Bill began his career in the Trucking Industry at the early age of eight years old traveling on weekends with his father who patrolled the highways of West Virginia as Safety Director for then McLean Trucking Company. During High School and the early College Years, Bill worked and learned the trucking business from the ground up. From Drivers to Ownership, Bill was fortunate to be taught by some of the best and has built upon that knowledge over the years. Understanding the hardships that Truck Drivers face each day and watching his own father drive a truck to support the family in the early years, Bill has always put the best interest of Drivers and their families first throughout his career.
Bill has the distinct honor of working with well known Leaders in the Trucking Industry such as Armlon "Bud" and Ray Leonard (Leonard Bros. Trucking Co. - Miami, Florida), Arnold and Tommy Ligon (Ligon Specialized Haulers - Madisonville, Ky), Hugh Gillam and Greg McManus (McGil/TRISM - Marietta, Georgia), and Sidney and Rick Alterman (Alterman Transport Lines, Inc. - Miami, Florida) and most of all his father "William H. "Bill" Sadler Sr. to name just a few.
Bill's work with the Department of Defense spans many decades and is well know for engineering some of the exceptional Specialized and Heavy Haul projects undertaken by the US Navy, NASA, and other Branches of Service. Bill served his country in the United States Navy working in Cryptology and attended school at NTTC Corry Station, Pensacola, Florida after attending Pensacola Jr. College where he studied Business and Broadcast Journalism. Bill has traveled to Washington D.C. contributing his knowledge and expertise on behalf of the Trucking Industry numerous times.
As the Host of Today's Trucking TV, Bill brings tremendous knowledge of the Industry and an understanding of the great challenges that are ahead. Through his program Bill attempts to highlight the most up to date technology available within the industry along with keeping abreast of the ever changing rules/regulations that govern the Trucking Industry and at the same time promote the sponsors who make the show possible.
Bill has called Pensacola, Florida his home since 1965.
